Free, VIP 1 or VIP 2? What's different, and which plan fits the way you play

VipMod has a free tier and two paid plans, VIP 1 and VIP 2. There's no per-game pricing: a plan covers every game in the part of the store it opens. Free opens the offline games, and VIP 1 opens the online games as well.

How many new games you can install and how many devices can be signed in at once also depend on the plan. The exact numbers for each plan and the current prices are on the Plans screen in the VipMod app, which is the one place they're always up to date. The per-game switches (ad blocking, auto-tap, playtime limits, 90/120 Hz, fake location, a language per game and backups) work on every plan, Free included.

What counts as an install

An install is a new game added to VipMod. Uninstalling a game doesn't give the install back, but reinstalling a game you've had before is always free, and renewing a paid plan refills your installs. If you try to add a game past your allowance, the app tells you before anything downloads.

Free is the offline store

The line between Free and VIP 1 runs through the store rather than through individual features: online games need VIP 1 to download. Tap Install on an online game while you're on Free and the app tells you which plan it needs. The MOD menu of an online game has no free items either, since everything in it starts at VIP 1.

The reason is where the work goes. A mod for an online game has to keep up with the publisher's patches, week after week, or it quietly stops working the first time the game updates itself. An offline mod, once it works, keeps working on a phone that never calls home. So we charge for the part that needs constant upkeep and leave the part that doesn't.

Inside offline games, VIP 1 opens everything, even the strongest item a single-player game has, like Unlock the shop in Diamond Quest: Don't Rush! or Freeze resources in Mob Control. Those numbers live on your phone, and there's no other player on the other side to be affected. Where mods are concerned, VIP 2 only makes a difference in online games, where a few items sit on the top tier. Each game's page lists every paid item with the plan it needs. In the MOD menu itself, items your plan doesn't open sit under Needs a higher plan, and tapping one shows which plan it takes.

Three kinds of players

  • You play one or two offline games and mostly want them without ads. Free is enough. Really, there's no need to upgrade.
  • There's an online game you want to play. That's VIP 1, and there's no other way in. It also opens every mod item in offline games and lets you add games that are already on your phone.
  • You use several devices (a phone, a tablet and an emulator, say), or you want the top items in online games. That's VIP 2.

What no plan includes

  • DIY Mod, where an AI mods a game from your phone on request, is paid in diamonds separately from the plan, and you need a VIP plan to use it.
  • No plan can change what an online game keeps on its own servers, like gems and premium currency, items the server hands out, or the odds on a chest. The FAQ covers what mods can and can't do in online games.

When a plan runs out

You go back to Free, and nothing you installed is taken away. Your games stay in VipMod with your progress intact, and they still open, with only the free mod items working. Online games you already downloaded keep opening and can still be reinstalled. Their MOD menu items simply lock until the plan is renewed.
